ABOUT OUR HOME
WELCOME! We are Simeon and Celina Gellert and are fortunate to live on an acreage near Chilliwack, British Columbia. It is where we raise our 4 children and established our love for breeding MAS.
Shortly after we had the opportunity to move onto an acreage we knew we wanted a canine family member. We looked for a breed that would fit into our active household while still being able to relax with us at the end of the day. After a lot of research we fell in love with Australian Shepherds.
However, we knew we wanted more children and that Aussies would be a bit too big in our small home. That is how we found Mini Aussies, now known as Mini American Shepherds!
It took a while to find a breeder we were happy with and completely trusted. We took home our Stella in May of 2022 and haven’t looked back since. We quickly found our passion in breeding healthy and well-tempered family pets.
Breeding dogs may have started as a hobby, but it has become our passion and consumed every aspect of our lives. I am fortunate enough for this to be my full time work.
Our dogs enjoy a secure environment while being part of a family household. All of our dogs are both in the house and in the heated and air-conditioned kennel, on a rotational basis, so that they all get the love and attention they need and deserve! We have a fully fenced area for them to run and play every day, acres upon acres of them to explore, and numerous smaller enclosures to ensure proper exercise and socialization. As you will see from the many photos… our dogs go with us on excursions and enjoy lots of activities! They are exposed to children of various ages (toddlers to teens) who are gentle and respectful as well as adults and other dogs.
