FAQ

Here is a list of frequently asked questions:

How long have you been breeding dogs?

We are still relatively new to breeding, having gotten our first breeding dog in 2022. However, we are constantly being guided and mentored by a few amazing dog breeders who have been doing this professionally for 40+ years.

Will the puppies be registered?

Yes. All puppies will be registered with the Canadian Kennel Club, with options to register to AKC and ASDR as well. We only breed purebred and registered dogs who meet all of our quality critera

Do you do any health testing on your breeding dogs?

Absolutely, we follow all of the recommended health testing. This includes: genetic testing, x-rays for hips and elbows, and eye exams. Meaning all of our breeding dogs are OFA/CHIC certified.

Can I see where the puppies are housed?

Of course, once the puppies are over 4 weeks old you are welcome to come and see them. Before that we are also available for a video call.

What are your goals for your litters?

We mainly focus on breeding for health and temperament, ensuring our dogs make amazing family pets. Our main focus is not sports as many sport or working line dogs do not have the suitable energy for the average family. However, some of our dogs have excelled at sports, or excelled at reserving their spot on the couch!

Are your dogs current on vaccinations? What about puppy vaccines?

Yes all of our dogs are kept up to date on vaccinations and dewormed multiple times per year. Puppies are dewormed every 2 weeks and receive their first set of puppy vaccinations at 7 weeks old.

What kind of guarantee do you offer?

We offer a 1 year genetic guarantee, as well as lifetime breeder support. More info can be found in our puppy agreement contract.

What does your waitlist or puppy application process look like?

We have you fill out our puppy application form on our home page. This is where we vet and see if you would make a fitting home for our puppies. If everything looks good we schedule a phone call to answer any questions and get to know you. After this phone call we send you the puppy agreement contract via email. Once signed, a $500 deposit will reserve you a spot for a puppy or on our waitlist.
